I AM

There is a ministry called Proverbs 31 Ministries; http://proverbs31.org/; if you haven’t found your way to their site; you truly have to make yourself familiar with them.  It’s an amazing Women’s ministry that reaches all over the globe to promote fellowship, spiritual growth and encourages each other, but most importantly uplifts and glorifies God.  I can’t even begin to share with you how much I love this ministry and the beautiful group of women leading and participating.

Also, as part of this ministry is a new mobile app that they have and it’s called First5; http://first5.org/ ; another amazing site that you must see.  Right now the app is studying Exodus and a part of this morning’s readings was Exodus 3:1 (NIV) 14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
After reading that verse I was asked to journal a bit about my thoughts on God being the great I AM; this is what comes to me...

I AM = He is my all in all. He is my protector. He is my provider. He is my joy and hope.  He is my peace and love.  He is my coming and my going.  He is my purpose and my ministry.  He is the beginning and the end.  He is the air that I breathe and the beautiful that my eyes get to see.  He is my reason and my pursuit.  He is my need and my fulfillment.  God--I AM...He is my ALL IN ALL!

What does I AM mean to you?

My Peace

This is the year I pray to seek God on a deeper level for myself, praying that He would lead, cleanse and strengthen every area of my life. To know me is to know that peace of mind is something very important to me and while praying for peace one day this is what comes to me:

P--pause; take in the moment God has me in.
E--encourage; always lift others up by letting His love flow through me.
A--accept; where I am and be content, but also know that God will always have more and deeper for me to go.
C--compassion; everyone in this world is fighting something...show them the love that my Father shows me
E--empty; continuously empty myself of Him because it allows Him to flow through me and the opportunity to always fill back up

Peace, to me, is when I'm calm; full of God's joy and trusting Him in my life. It's when I'm praying faithfully for my loved ones and other things that God places on my heart. He is my peace that passes all understanding.
