Day 25 of Advent

Day 25 of Advent
Gifts from the Magi to Jesus

Matthew 2:11
On coming to the house, they saw the child with him mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.  Then they opened their treasures and presented  him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.

I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!  Praying this day finds you all well and that you have enjoyed our journey through Advent as much as I have.  It's fun to give and receive gifts for Christmas, but it is so very important for us to know and to teach our children what the real meaning of this season is.

Jesus was born with a purpose greater than we may ever truly understand; it's because of Him that we have access to God and if we give our lives to Him will be blessed to one day see Him face to face. I don't know about you, but that creates a fire and joy done in the pit of my soul that nothing compares to and compels me to share Him with everyone I can.

God loved us so much that He sent His only son to die for our sins, to wash them white as snow; so that we may be present with The Lord in Heaven.  My prayer for all of you and your families is that you know Christ for yourselves; that you will allow Him into your hearts and you too can celebrate the true reason for the season...THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST.

May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a safe Happy New Year!!
